Anthurium (pink), Breynia nivosa 'Roseopicta',
Hakonechloa m. 'All Gold', Heuchera 'Amber Waves', Campanula
poscharskyana, Coleus 'Dark Star'
- Many house plants with beautiful leaves
can adapt to garden conditions in the summer, provided you site
them where the sun is less intense. This grouping for shade
features a pink anthurium backed by a variegated blush and cream
snow bush (Breynia) that echoes the rose in the bracts of the
anthurium. Japanese ribbon grass (Hakonechloa) and coral bells (Heuchera)
in tones of gold bring light to the shade. The purple hues of
the campanula and coleus are deeper echoes of the pink of the
anthurium and contrast with the gold grass and coral bell
leaves.
